U North Carolina Chapel Hill Expands Mobile App Functionality with User Experience Platform
Campus Technology: The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has implemented a user experience platform that enabled information technology services (ITS) staff to expand the functionality of its CarolinaGo mobile app for students.
The university launched CarolinaGo in 2014 as an information-only app, but the university wanted to expand the app's functionality to support student life on campus. The updated app is powered by PeopleMobile, a user experience platform developed by GreyHeller that lets people access PeopleSoft pages from any smartphone or tablet. Students can now use the CarolinaGo app to access the university's ConnectCarolina portal.
