Four States Homepage: PITTSBURG, KS.--- A bill soon to be signed by the Kansas governor will bring Pittsburg State University $1 million. The legislature recently passed a $20 million program that will help students pay for technical training and become "Career Ready" graduates. The "Career and Technology Act" allows Pittsburg State to expand the technical education capacity, increasing the skilled workforce for the Sate of Kansas. The president of the university tells us providing the governor signs the bill, the school will start receiving funds around July.
